The recently completed $35 million, 110,000 square foot facility was designed to complement the existing medical services of the existing facilities in north Galveston County and south Harris County. The Center houses a new outpatient specialty care and ambulatory surgical center, and offers services from advanced imaging to a center for weight management.
The building structure is cast in place concrete, and the columns are founded on shallow spread footings. The ornamental canopy and glass curtain wall enclosed lobby area are framed with structural steel, creating a distinct entry element to this unique facility.
